The attached photo depicts MG PA 0540 Airline Coupe in the mid 1950s when owned by Mr. Anthony W. May. The car was first owned by Captain C.A.E. Terry of Kent and he trialed the car in the 1930s. Mr. May sold the car ca. 1956 and it hasn’t been heard of since. It was Black with a Red interior. The registration is BKE 599 and is no longer active.
MG Airline enthusiasts fear this car has not survived though it was in good running condition when sold. Consequently we would be interested in any information regarding this Airline that readers might be able to share including, but not limited to, its history, owner’s names, and any clues to its current whereabouts or information regarding its probable demise.
