Seeking information about a picture of an MG

I am seeking information on beharf of a Bernie Flockhart, concerning a 1932 MG (4 x seater D type he thinks) with the above registration number, which he owned during the 1950s.

Bernie has a photo of the car taken during this period, which he is willing to share with the owner.

I am afraid the number is not shown in the 2014 printed register.

Interestingly the MG suffix numbers closest to MG1736 are shown as being on either D or F types.

MG 1736 is not recorded in the Julian Evers list.
However the date of registration would be about June 1932, ad so is more likely to be an F type.
A picture of the car, would be good.

Let Ted Hack know, he puts out a regular e-newsletter for D type owners. I am sure he would love too get hold of a copy of the photo and run a where-is-she-now piece.

Nor is it recorded in the 'Mike Allison List' where 102 D-types and 470 F-types lack a registration number.
