I have that pic filed as K3001/Wisdom/Shelsley/1933, the same as Olli. Yours Simon is, I think, Elsie in K3003.

Although a written list I have shows that the only Shelsley K3001 did before going abroad was 27/05/1933 with Fay Taylor/George Eyston & Johnny Lurani driving. Take your pick........ |

In my view the lady in K3001 looks more like Fay Taylour as she is a bit more petite than Bill Wisdom.

I'd go with it being Fay Taylour, too. And the May 1933 Shelsley was (in)famously wet! Motor Sport described the weather as "that exasperating, confident rain which looks as though it might stop at any time, but never does." |
