which manual gearbox would have been fitted to the K2 by the factory?? - thanks -Rich

ENV with cross-tube mounting I think (stand to be corrected though).

Hi,
K2 had the same Wolseley manual box as the K1 with a KA engine. As Christian say it had a different remote unit.....at first glance it looks like a pre-selector remote but has a standard H pattern gate rather than the sequential of the ENV. I think with a K2 you can use whatever you would like ... some were fitted with ENV boxes and several cars upgraded to KD Engines so gearboxes may have also been changed. Unconfirmed info says some of the K2 remotes left over were used in KN Pillarless saloons.
