Last weekend I attended the Bathurst Pre War MG Rally along with about 70 other cars and a dozen T types. On Saturday we had a display in the centre of town followed by parade laps of the Mt Panorama circuit. Sunday involved a drive through the hills to a lovely winery for lunch. Some pictures:

The winery allowed us to park on the terrace which we enjoyed with live music and good food.

Looks like an enjoyable meeting - lovely weather and great selection of ohc MGs. I would have loved to attend.

I wonder if my old NB NA0960 was there and if there is a photo of it?

George, I did not spot your car on the Australian register. Did it come here recently? Which state?

Matthew.

Hi All,

NA0960 is owned by Ralph Leach in Brisbane, he was intending to come but work commitments prevented him.

With regard to J3763: I would be interested to hear in which way an Australian competition spec. is different. Is there anything "more special"? Can we learn something???

Thanks for posting this meeting and the nice pictures!

They fit their blowers upside down because that way works much better in the Southern Hemisphere!

Hi,

Water goes down the plug in the opposite direction as well !

We are a little different down here, it comes from living next to a tiny island the beats the crap out of everyone at rugby.

cheers

ross
