Hi all, Now, This a long shot but,,,
In the 70,s a friend of mine remembers his father restoring an MG J2?
We only have his name to go on and that was Stan Parkes?
Is this enough for it to be possible to trace the car?
Doubtful I know buy I thought it was worth a try?
He lived in the west Midlands area when the car was sold and will appear on someones log book no doubt. I said I would try on the forum and also pointed out it was a bit of a long shot!!

Any help with this miracle would be very much appreciated.

Andy, a search on the new database sadly does not reveal anyone under the name of Parkes.

Sorry

Was Stan Parkes the owner, or working for someone else, perhaps?
Could the time have been in the '60s, rather than '70s?
Does the name Halfpenny, possibly of Long Eaton, near Nottingham, mean anything?
Any idea of the colour of the vehicle?
Thanks

Hugh

Both of these gents were owners when the cars were new, I have more recent entries for Lance Parkes (j3096) and a Bryan Parkes with an F type, no other Parkes.

Regards,
Graham
