Hi Christopher
Thanks for the information on the two cars - as you have noted the NA is not in the Register, we do not have any record of the Registration number RM1934 which also does not appear in the factory files.
I wonder if Lew Palmer has any information on the car? I will try to find out a bit more about it.

Thanks Christopher.
This is (perhaps only slightly) intriguing!
It's difficult to identify the NA as the reg mark is an unknown one. At least it's very shiny!
The registration mark OY 4026 appears twice on the Register: It's currently thought to be attached to J1 chassis number J0316, which previously carried MG 2010. The car is on the Register with a British owner.
The OY registration mark previously belonged with J1 chassis number J0315, which now resides in the Netherlands with a Dutch plate. So do we conclude that the 'C-Type' being offered for sale in the States may be J1 J0316? So it is and always will be a J1!

If J0316 is on the register to a British owner then its wrong , its been in the USA for probably getting on for 2 years now . |

I have nothing in my files on the NA, but have been eyeing it with half a mind to purchase. However, I'd have to sell my PB Airline Coupe in order to afford it.
Anyone interested in an Airline Coupe?

I have been in contact with the company who are advertising the car and received a reply from non other than Phillip Metcalf, son of Tommmmmm, whom I have met at Silverstone when he came over with his Dad. Small world!
Phillip has advised me the car is NA0384 - the car is listed in the printed Register with early Register number 939.

Sorry should read NA 384. In the same register OY4026 is listed as a J . To be fair the C is listed as a replica based on a cut down J chassis .

I'm not really into personalised registration numbers but RM 1934 would fit me perfectly !. |
