H R Attwood entered a Midget in the SUNBAC Colmore Trials on the 18th February 1933 (Competitor No. 36) when he won a First Class Award, and on the 24th February 1934 (Competitor No. 61) when he managed a Third Class Award. The Registration Number of the Midget is not mentioned, but there is a fairly good chance that it was your car. No, on second thoughts the 1933 Colmore was held before your car was made ! Could be yours in 1934 however.

Build of J3096 began in week beginning 22 March 1933 so perhaps it could have competed at the Colmore?

Hello Peter

Welcome to our web site, the source of much information on our lovely hoc cars.

You may be aware we have a Yearbook and bi-monthly Bulletin?

I expect you may know that J3096 is mentioned in the late Mike Hawke's book How they ran, it mentions 3 events in 1953 in NZ when owned by R J Cummins. It also mentions "Triple-M Register COTY scores in 1997, driver Peter Croft".

I like the Registration number.
