I am prepared to speak up for some of the parts, but suspect that if you want it shipped in one consignment rather than bit by bit, it is more than I, or most of us here, can handle. It will surely fall to one of the MMM suppliers to take this on.
However could I put a marker on some parts in the hope that whoever takes on the whole batch will be happy to pass those bits on and share a proportionate element of the costs involved.

Greetings Ross,
Sorry to be a curmudgeon, but house rules do say that prices should be quoted. Thought I'd mention it before any of my fellow committee members do so .....

Ross is there a way to avoid shipping the parts? As I just checked and shipping the centric would cost around 250 ausD so the price would have to be realy low to be affordable for me.

J3752 is missing a J3 speedo/tacho. Never dreamed I'd ever see one for sale.
It wasn't like this before the internet...

Hi Ross
I would be interested in the EN75 pre-select gearbox but like the others wonder about cost including shipping!
As our Chairman Dick has noted the items should be priced.
It would be great to see some photos of your rebuilt and historic J3.
Regards

Hi,
Thank you all for the overwhelming interest in the MMM parts I have listed for sale.
At this stage it will take me a couple of days to sort through the emails and carefully consider the offers I have recieved.
I will update the post as soon as possible.

Ross,
Ever so slightly off topic ;-0 sorry.
Is the white MG yours?
If so are those brakes 12" and what size are the holes in the drums.
I see 6 holes used when I was thinking 5 holes, until now.
Did you just choose a size that looked right or were there historic details listed somewhere .
Sorry for the intrusion.
Kind regards. |

Hi Again,
Just to clarify my last post, I received several emails offline interested in purchasing the parts in one lot.
I have now worked out a lot price and have now communicated this figure to the person from whom I received the first email.
I spoke to him tonight and he has indicated that he will let me know within the next day or so if finance director (wife) approves. If he decides not to buy I will then offer at the same price to the next MMM owner in order of emails received.
If I cannot sell as a lot I will consider parting out.
I hope this makes it a bit clearer as to my intentions.
regards
ross kelly

This topic has moved on considerably from what I originally agreed as it now does not comply with the rules of the forum. I will move this post to Parts for Sale shortly but only if the parts remain for sale (i.e. they are not sold as a lot) and individual prices are stated. In the meantime, I will lock this post. Nick
