I was wondering whether there is a reliable and simple way to check the front wheel tracking of our cars? It's dead easy when the engine is out of the car, but not otherwise.

Hello Dick,

I presume you mean checking the toe-in, then I use John HarrisÆ method as described in the 1996 Triple-M Yearbook, page 37. If you havenÆt got a copy then the Register Librarian, Malcolm Green (fax: 01372 451507) can probably supply one.

Failing that, I could copy the pages from mine and post them to you. However, if you havenÆt yet acquired the complete Yearbook collection (1970-date), I thoroughly recommend that you do so.

I've e-mailed this direct to you as well.

Many thanks, Bob.

It was often said at school that I failed to complete my homework and you've demonstrated that not much has changed in that department!

I do have the yearbook and will now set to and read it.

Regards
Dick
