Can anybody help, PA1733 is part assembled but I plan to strip back and start a new. I have just insured my Y type which is complete and on the road, I realize PA1733 even in parts (many reconditioned) has some value, I wonder has anybody found a way of insuring a car that is in the process of a rebuild? Or insuring a private garage and it's contents?
You could also try either Peter Best or Hagerty who I currently use.
I have been able to insure cars in the process of being rebuilt with cover for fire and theft. As you note a PA in parts has some value, my guess is the value would be in the range £12500 to £15000?
