A friend has asked me if we know what happened to his PB which was last seen by me in the Derby Area in the 1960s. The registration number was BHP515 (not in my copy of the register)but we have no record of the chassis number.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Bob,

The chassis number is PB 0285 which was one of Tony Dolton's specials which then went to Germany. I suspect it is still around.

Peter

PS. The reason the Registration Number is not shown in the printed Register is because it is listed with its German Registration Number

Still on the register under Peter Altenbach but we know it was sold probably about 5 yrs ago? We dont know where.

Only ever a racing car in Dads hands, never registered on the road, bought from Nigel Musselwhite as a pile of body less bits. Sold in 1980 to Peter

Clealry quick, 1:04 lap at Brands compared to my 1.11 this year!

1979 Mary Harris winner. Nice Vanwall wheels!!

Nice photo Mark.

I remember seeing your Dad racing, as you note he was very competitive.

Perhaps your PB needs further lightening! My old PB ARY614 certainly benefitted from a lightweight Q style body.

yup, the lightweight body makes a big difference, otherwise not massively different.

Driver needs to be lighter 1st!!
