Hello,
I have found that the car spent some many years in the San Francisco area. This is where sports car racing began in California in 1949.
Wondering if alterations may have been done to PA 1024 for racing?

Items I have noted thus far.
Horn Dip removed and separate horn and Dip switches installed.
Aluminum dash cover.
Gauges now missing?
Scoop added driver to bonnet side.
Scoops placed on brake back plate, Holes drilled with screens in place on front brake drums.
Aluminum Hartford's
Chronomatic Rev/Speedo with brown face no green or red?

Any ideas?

What's with the brown face rev counter? I have a similar one and still wonder why it is like that.

Yes Dave,

Those are the special order high Iron content type of ali Hartfords.
( A previous owner Chromed a lot of things on the car!)
