Does anyone know of a source for the rubber fume seal for a J type firewall. I know I had one once - it was a semi-circle of a very stiff rubber - but can't find it now and can't see it on any of the usual traders' websites.
Andy, it sounds as though you're talking of the one round the bellhousing, not between the bonnet & firewall? If so I used to have one. I'll look over the weekend & if I find it I'll post a photo so we both know what we're talking about.
Hi Andy, I've found the seal I have but the system is timing out each time I try to load a photo. I'll try again tomorrow, but in the meantime it is as you say hard rubber of a flattened oval "H" section about 1 3/8 inches by 5/8 inches and is approx 49 inches long. Are you still interested?
