 J2 engine mounting rubber bit!		  Forum Locked  Topic Locked

Search hi and low, whilst fitting the engine in the J2, I have managed to lose one of the conical rubbers that sits in the top of the engine mount on the rear housing. The bit that has the bolt going through it with a large metal washer. Does some kind soul have one kicking about they might be prepared to part with. A used one would be fine..

Perhaps why you think you lost them Hugh, is that some 35 years ago when I restored the car, those were not easily available. So as a substitute, I cut a rubber ball in half and drilled the halves to fit.

Ah-ha! In the mean time, a pal has texted to say that S&V will provide individual bits rather than a complete 'set' so I shall be on the phone to Jamie in the morning!
