The six volt dynamo for my M-type has a leak to earth from the field coils through the casing. Can anyone tell me where I can find a new set of field coils ?

Goto www.woodauto.com The contact there is Mark

A brand new armature and filed coils for 6 volts is ú80 or if you want to convert to 12 volts the kit is ú140. A brand new, no exchange dynamo is ú305. A reconditioned armature with new comultator is ú68 and ú78 with a new shaft.

Many thanks for the information and the speed of your response.

Following your advice I 'phoned and discovered that Wood Auto Supplies has a place here in Belfast and can send my dynamo to Huddersfield to be appraised without obligation and no postage to pay.
