I would appreciate it if someone could give me the dimentions of the Starting Handle for a PA/PB.

The engine and front apron of my car are not fitted at the moment, therefore I cannot judge the size from the car itself.

I have a starting handle that I have aquired over the years and have assumed that it was suitable for a PB however I am not so sure.

Perhaps someone could help me sort this small problem.

Thanking you all in anticipation.

The starting handle on my PA is 20" long from the working end up to the crank. The crank is 5.3/4" and the handle is 5".

Thanks for info re PB starting handles, I now know that the one that I have is not a PB handle.

I have in fact a TD starting handle if anyone is interested please let me know.

I am of course now looking for a PB starting handle, if any one has a spare I would be interested.

My PA's handle is 19.5", 6.5', 5" .

It is not, though, the original, since the car was originally supercharged (and may be again if anyone knows of a firm or individual who is equipped and willing to convert a new Mk 22 Cabin Blower. No great hurry. Any suggestions?)

Bob,

I suggest you have a word with Ron Grant about Mk 22 Supercharger installations. In the past he has made/machined the manifolds and drive shaft extensions for side mounting, and he is probably up to speed on front mounting. His email is ronaldwgrant@aol.com.
