I am looking for an oil strainer/basket that fits in a P type rocker cover beneath the filler lid. If anyone has one to spare please let me know. Thanks Terry Hartley |

Not difficult to make from a tea strainer or a loop of wire and a section of brass mesh.

Is it worth it - no one can see it - if you have a modern oil filter? |

Yes it is; to stop leaves, acorns, apples, guano and the like falling in when you fill up with oil. |

Lew, I may end up having to make one, thanks for the suggestion. I just thought the spares world would be awash with them seeing how some think they are useless. Bruce, I don't know if it is worth it yet, nobody has offered me one so I don't know the cost! Still looking, if anyone has one hidden away please get in touch. Terry.

George,
Feeling a bit of a dinosaur; and as they lasted over 200 million years, then 41 years to me, seems just a few.
