Can anyone tell me what the 'D' position is on the ignition switch. (Off.D.S.H)

Phil
The D stands for "Dynamo". The dynamo can be turned off charge in the "off" postion.
It is charging in the other 3 positions.

thanks rod, i had guessed at this but couldnt believe it. they are quirky things theese cars.
