hello everyone,
I remember some years ago there was talk of the K3 Dossier being updated and reprinted. Has any progress been made on this because I could do with a copy, but the prices for the originals are £££££££!!

The new book is called the Hawke History of MMM Competition Cars edited by Karl-Joachim Wiessmann.
The Triple - M Library may have the book in stock?

These are two very different books - both good but dissimilar.
Best to investigate if the Hawke History of MMM Competition Cars is what you are really looking for.

I also understood that there was a possibility of a reprinted and updated version of The K3 Dossier book.Does anyone know more ?

| The Hawke History is the sequel to the K3 Dossier as intended by original compilers Mike Hawke and Jay Hall. Where the K3 Dossier only deals with the K3s, the Hawke History deals with all M.G.’s racing models (M 12/12, M 12/12 Rep, C, J3, J4, Q, R, K3 & NE) and is -as is the K3 Dossier- purely a listing of all (pre war) events the racing cars took part in. Listed by model & chassis number. Entrants, drivers, race numbers, results, all listed where known. Essential reading material. |

There are no plans to reproduce the K3 Dossier. The book edited by Karl contains all the data (& more, correcting some detail as well), but less the photos of the original.
There is more chance of a "100 Years of the MG J2" being published first.
