Hello,
Thumbs up to a great forum!
I am trying find a relatively local garage to look over my PB. Whilst I can do the odd job here and there and have been driving her locally I want to venture further but would like someone to look over her prior.
I know I need a new master cylinder as a start but no doubt there will be other jobs along the way. I am based in Sutton Coldfield.

| Although I am not a PB owner , just a J2 , I cannot recommend Andy King too highly . A 100% reliable MMM specialist who really knows his stuff - and took my F type in hand when it needed a lot of sorting out . There may be others closer to Sutton Coldfield , but I doubt if you will find better. No , I am not in the trade - just a delighted customer - and I hope friend . Knowing Andy quite well and reading your message I assume that you made a small mistake and that “cannot” should be “can” highly recommend.
I have no relation to Andy but a customer only!

| Paul , no . My use of English is correct. It is a slight anomaly , but saying " I cannot recomment Too Highly " is praise indeed . Using " I can recommend highly " is also praise , but to a lesser degree . Anyway , he is still a good chap ! We also have a saying , a little old-fashioned now that goes " and if I have got that wrong ...I am a Dutchman ! " |

As you see these Dutch interfere with everything, so I have to come to England to learn a bit more about your practical use of the language.
