A seller in Australia has listed a large quantity of period images of MMM cars on eBay. Just search ‘MG old large photo’ and you’ll find them. I know a lot of them are well published images but there are a lot that I haven’t seen also.

Thanks, Ian.

Terrific collection but I particularly like the picture of an F1 Magna salonette Reg. No. GW2 sadly not currently listed.

Yes, an absolutely amazing collection but it hasn't thrown up a period image of my car EV 433 which I have been hunting for years!!! If anybody has one please let me know.

Very, very nice collection, but it did not give a historical picture of my JD 2578 Type-F that I have been looking for for years. If anyone has in collection, please let me know.

I believe they are simply new prints of old pics, Mike. No point in buying them if you ask me. If they had been originals, then yes, but not now.

The images are standard ones available from a number of photo libraries. Many are orginally by Bill Brunel.

The advert is misleading- they are simply brand new printings of old images. I bought one from him and in the end got my money back. Not only was it not an period photo, it was substantially smaller than advertised. I don't know where they got their source material from but it gave the impression of being quite a low-resolution scan as it was not a very sharp reproduction.
