Some of our members who attended the Register 50th will remember that one place to visit on the east tour was to see the Avro Vulcan XM655 at Wellesbourne, and those who did visit had a splendid tour including a visit to the cockpit. Although this aircraft will never fly again, it is licenced for, and does fast taxy runs on the runway at Wings and Wheels. After an abscence of 4 years wings and wheels is again taking place, and the Triple-M members are invited to join in. tIf you have never seen a Vulcan moving at high speed on the ground you have missed a treat, and it will be doing 2 runs during the day. As they might say on the BBC, other aircraft will be in attendance
