There are pictures in the f type magna registry and luckily a picture of the chassis. If anyone can contribute information as to whether the F1168 still exists. And in which country?
I wrote MMM register in Switzerland and received the following answer: "Unfortunately I did not note F1168 in my register, but that does not mean that the vehicle is not in Switzerland."
The entry by Ian Ross in: http://www.fmagna.org.uk/ is certainly interesting. F1168 'F1' four-seater tourer. A partially restored 'F1' four-seater Tourer awaiting further attention in Switzerland. This information is interesting and indicates that the F-Type has been lost.
If someone has information from the F1168, knows the stay or the owner, please write to me. There are copies of documents from 1932 and 1933 that I would like to send to the owner.
Some research: At that time, the F1168 belonged to Mr. Fred Steiner near Solothurn (Switzerland). Mr. Steiner had a large collection of different vehicles, including the F-Type. Mr. Steiner unfortunately passed away a little more than 10 years ago. Unfortunately I can't tell you where the car went, but I know that a large part of its collection was sold to the UK, maybe the Magna was there. The car was unrestored at the time. This is also confirmed by pictures. The fact is, he was still alive a few years ago. Maybe someone can contribute about the whereabouts of the F1168.
Good news to report from the F1168. It is still in Switzerland / Europe and has been around for over 40! years of restoration. The small town in Switzerland is Hinwil. I wish that the owner would contact the register and exchange ideas.
