My L2 # 002 Reg # MG2415 is fitted with a "University Motor's "Claim Plate" on the firewall. It is just a smidge over 1.5" in dia. It is file #671. I have seen one or two others over the years but never any discussion on wether these were fitted to all cars sold by University Motors during this period. Any comments or input gratefully appreciated.
Hello Chris. This question of the UM Claims number cropped up several years ago, and some brief conversations can be found if you do a search, including clicking on the "archived posts" button. However, at that time no one seemed to know anything about the claims number badge. It still looks as if no one knows anything about it !
