I have finally finished my version of a PB side screen, the idea being a recreation of an original one, as you are aware after 84 years Trimmers and owners have made their own versions.

If you have any observations or suggestions I would appreciate them.

My side screens are the same as David's and Colin's. Aluminum rivets hold the 1/2 round bars to the frame.

Bruce,
there was no plan to improve anything from your drawing.
When i see dade's sidescreens and my, i can also not seen a difference.
On the other side you will see the process..
I have one friend with CAD experience, one other how can organize the laser cut. From this point of view it is exact one chance to make it.
As i answered Ian, i do not have any example for a check.

I am happy with the result and that is what is important for me.

Good Morning all

Here are 2 more photos showing mock up fitted to my PB.

I have ended up with my window 9 inches deep (23 cms)

Any comments gratefully received.

Russ, wonderful to see PB0333 making progress, such a change from when she stood in Frankie Blacklock’s scrapyard in the 70s the day I acquired her and you took on such a huge rebuild project. All best.

Thanks for your kind comment, I certainly have been working on the old car for some time as you know.

Once we have caught the virus!!!! The Old Car Virus I mean.

Keep safe
