Can anyone advise me if the front cables go over or under the gearbox cross shaft mounting. The seems space "under" but the more natural route given how the enter the brake cross-shaft assembly would seem to be "over" Guidance please.
The front brake cables go under the gearbox cross shaft, and they are held in place by a small aluminium block situated just below the firewall brackets. The blocks are in turn held in place with 2 x 1/4 inch bsf bolts through the chassis side rail.
The nearside aluminium block also holds the wiring loom.
