Does anyone know if it is possible to cross reference the serial number on an AA badge to the corresponding member's name? (I believe that the number is not a membership number but a serial number - which is different.)

I ask because I have an AA badge that was given to me by the owner of my car in the fifties, and he told me that it had belonged to his uncle when he owned the car after the War. The number is 1A50319 and according to the internet, this would have been issued around 1957. (https://www.breakdowncover.org.uk/the-aa/aa-car-badges/)

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Adding to that.
I have my fathers original brass AA box key - this also has a number
Would this number be the same as the badge number?
Sadly the badge is long gone.

One for the minutiae experts.
