I have a Vitesse model described as a TC but I have my doubts

It was a limited edition so I don’t know whether they are still available

Sorry the photo is upside down

Franco, The only one I have is the " Tri-Ang Spot-On " version that was made in blue and red. It is a small scale but good for it's size. There is a poor example on E-bay no. 203173909617 it is marked PB but that is debateable, the manufactures no. is 279 and I think it is 1:48 scale.
Best of luck with your search.

Roger

Hi Francesco, i have a 1/43 scale model of my car. It was sold as a PB but by the time you repaint the dashboard, the slatted radiator grille is not very obvious.
I bought it about 50 years ago and it is one of the "Spot-On" range which is obviously long out of production but you may find one somewhere!

I see Roger got in while I was photographing! As he says, red or blue with black plastic wings. I've painted mine as my own car, although it needs a re-paint now.

Good luck,

Dave

Nick or Rich, I see for the first time I've fallen foul of the phantom picture turner. Would you be so kind?

Interesting to see that your model was made in Norn Iron, Dave.

Yes indeed Simon. The reason for the strange colour combination is she was cream with red wheels when I got her so the model was painted thus. I then tried out the brown wings and now they really need to be re-done in a paler brown with silver wheels.

Many thanks Nick or Rich!

Those tyres look like a definite MOT fail, or are you going for that 'period' look?

......."bought it about 50 years ago...".....tyres are pretty damned good for that age and 'mileage'.

If you want something to do then try K&R Replicas.
They do advertise on internet but not easy to find
Very good die cast scale models.
Worth looking at the range of MG cars they do.

This one is metal and a P type but very small. I don't know of a current source.

Chris everything was a hassle from wire spoke wheels to glue that didn’t stick and if you left the model on it’s wheels the axles bent.
It was Wills Finecast, and I made a Morgan JAP engine three wheeler and a Bugatti type 59 in the same kit form. The kits were very well modelled on the real cars.
Sorry they didn’t make an MG P type

Yes Terry, it's quite an accurate model in some respects; mine rally were like that 50 years ago.

Happy days when we could actually use them!

Dan, this would seem to be your kit; https://www.scalelink.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000002.pl?WD=mg&PN=Vehicles___Scale_1_76__OO_%2ehtml#aSLC083

They list quite a few MGs including a K3 which further research shows is the Wills Finecast one which Ralph built, also the Wills Finecast M Type.

I now find these kits are now supplied by Souteast Finecast; http://www.sefinecast.co.uk/Car%20Kits/Car%20Kits%20Preface.htm

I have both the blue and red "Spot-on" P Type models- still in their boxes, but they are not for sale. They are quite rare as the NI factory burnt to the ground (as occasionally occurs in NI) and the production run ceased.
I might be tempted when the going price gets to £5,000 !
