I noticed a very nice complete and completely unrestored swept wing J2 for sale on a Dutch site similar to E-bay. Looks like it's been sitting in a leaking barn for 75 years - only the speedometer is missing. The car is located in New Jersey, registration is JC 1429. Bob Clare: do you have this car in your records? If anyone needs help with the Dutch language, let me know. Follow this link:

It's on the MMM register (No 2654)
Supplied by John Owen as ex demonstrator (Bangor Oct 33) via Colemores of Birmingham
Originally Black with Red upholstery (so now changed)
Last pre-war info is 1936 (Caernarvon, Wales)
Then it turns up in 1986 (Conn USA)"awaiting restoration" - looks like it never got one!

The seller is also offering a Jaguar E-type, several TR3's and a TR6, all located in New Jersey. It would appear that a Dutchman has bought a collection of cars in the US which he is now trying to sell through Marktplaats.nl, which is a major site for car trade in Holland.
