Yet another 'daft' question. I wish to rechrome the outer rim on my horn, I have been fiddling around for hours and cant see where it comes apart. What simple fact have I over looked, or a they a swine to part? Cheers Phil Clueless
Remove the 6 nuts from around the chrome ring. Then the ring can be separated from the horn bode. It sometimes may be stuch, but a gentle tap on the edge of the rings should get it free. Be careful to note the thickness and position of the paper gaskets. If these are not replaced with the same or equal thickness ones, the horn will never sound right.
