does anyone have any information or pix of the brown MG Magnette driven by MIke Allison at VSCC events. It's the noisy brown and cream one with a long tail and twin exhausts. I'm only young, but i enjoy seeign thsi car race and am interested to find out more about it. anyone who has good pix or info about, let me know.

What a shame it's taken this long for anyone to reply to your enquiry! I'm just as much to blame as anyone since I'm the Registrar and, of course, I have details. The car is based on the chassis of the last NB ever built, NA 0995. I think Mike's concept was to build the logical successor to the racing NE i.e. an NE with a supercharger. So that's what he did.
For the best info on this interesting project, I refer you to the Triple-M Yearbook for 1994, page 42-44, where Mike gives a write up and photo of the car. I think you can still get copies of this yearbook from the MG Car Club or from the Register Librarian, Malcolm Green, fax 01372 451507.
