Hello all

Any of you been up the hill? I expect so, I guess there are some photos in the year books, so will check.

3 of us are staying in Campbell Cottage there for Christmas, so will have an historic atmosphere, and I've just bought a 1945 copy of CAN May's book on the subject, so will absorb it there.

Greetings, Arthur

Our Register 50th anniversary bash in 2011 was based near Warwick and one of the several tours took in a visit to Shelsley, where we all had a go! Strictly non-competitive of course

Arthur,
The Register's annual tour visited Shelsley Walsh back in 2011. There are plenty of photos from that on this website under the events button in the photos file. A much overlooked resource.

Arthur

If you log onto YouTube there are some videos of cars going up Shelsley. If you look for "tim Sharp MG PB" on YouTube you should find some videos I have posted including a run up Shelsley.
Regards
Tim

Hi Tim

I looked at your videos...splendid stuff, shame about the extraneous wind noise though. I guess you have a Go pro camera, and I know nothing about these, is it possible to muffle out wind noise?

Campbell Cottage is splendid, very low ceilings but then the three of us are short arses anyway!
