As some Triple-M ers seem not to be going to the Goodwood Revival, it prompts the question - which of us ARE going!

PA0743 is there for the entire weekend and will be in the pre-1966 car park. Anyone else?

Regards

Hi Dick I am going (in a camper for the weekend) but I always get lumbered with buying the ticket for people who say yer I would love to come, and then when I ask them for the money it seems that someting else has cropped up. I will only buy my tickets next year!!!

That's a good idea - which day/s are you and the Leavers attending?

I could not make the meeting on Friday but Terry Holden and I were at the main pedestrian tunnel entrance (inner circuit end) at 11.00am on Saturday and we did not see anyone, where were you all?

Peter.

Hello Peter

I was there all three days with PA 0743 and was at the rvp at 11 am pretty well sharp(ish) on all days, but alas did not spot you on Saturday - maybe you were wearing a sports jacket and track hat like many others and therefore well camouflaged ...........

I did meet with Paul Duncombe (best wishes to you, Paul if you read this before tomorrow) and Keith Leaver, plus new PB owner John Thurner, but I failed to spot Rodney Collins or Graham Holdsworth.

Perhaps we had better publish an "I-Spy" book of Triple-M owners and their mug shots?!

Pity that Tom Dark's Bugatti blew up its s/c in the warm-up lap after all the midnight oil he had burned in re-making a couple of drive gears after Friday's practice session .......

Dick,

There are two tunnels, which one were you at? The general public one or the small one used by pass holders?

Peter.

I met up with Graham and Paul but I did not see anyone at the meeting point, I was some 10 to 15 minites late which did not help. I bumped into Graham queing for breakfast and Paul who saw me quaffing a glass or two of Champers with friends.

Hello Peter

Tried both tunnels! The Morbey/Duncombe/Leaver/Thurner axis rv'd at the public tunnel entrance. Better luck next time!

It must have been the only weekend of the year when there was 3 days of clear blue skies plus 25 degrees! Thank goodness for 2 grands prix on the usual weekends of Goodwood.
