I am interested to know why this car that according to the advert seems to have good specification and history is not registered with the Triple M list of KN’s.
It is KN0446, according to advert ?
Just asking as intrigued, not interested in purchasing.
KN0446 was originally a pillarless KN saloon, supplied to the City of Glasgow Police in September 1935.
Clearly the car has undergone significant change over the years but the Register has never had any contact with anyone claiming to be its owner.
The pictures clearly show an attractive car although the Register has not been provided with any ID images of the car, especially its chassis number. Although the car as such is recorded on the Register it has not been accorded a Register number. To that end we are always happy and willing to engage with owners of any Triple-M car as clearly stated in our published Guidelines.
It would seem to have the UK registration MG 4662 which shows up on DVLA as a black M.G. originally registered in September 1935 which would tally with the date of registration of KN0446 but would the Glasgow police have had an MG number plate? Hmmm …..
