Amazing: my car! Looks as though it’s been lifted from a photo album. I wonder if the seller has more history?

Thanks for the heads up on this Kevin! :D

Thanks Kevin, will do. I’ve messaged the vendor, but they appear to retail a wide range of old photos, post cards etc, as a professional trader: they not know much about the pictures provenance.

Someone else has bid on it - anyone here?

Disappointingly, (1) the vendor has not responded to queries (I suspect that they know nothing about the pictures they retail) and (2) I didn't win the auction - mostly because I could not login at the time the auction was ending. Very frustrating, but I guess while the picture would have been nice, without the back story, its value is a little limited.

Thanks again Kevin - really good of you to have posted this here! :)

I know it doesn't help Rob (I would have been gutted in his position) but I never log out of Ebay, so whenever I return to the site, I am always logged in and ready to go. Hope that helps prevent a similar situation for someone in the future...

So many dynamos

So I suppose we need to ask about the side mounted horn- does it still exist?

Thanks guys - really frustrating, but it is not the end of the world. Would love to know more of the back story to the car! Perhaps this is an incentive...

Regarding the horn Kevin, no, no sign of that now, sadly. It also gained a windscreen wiper since that photo was taken... LOL

Thanks for the enlarged picture Sam! :) May be there is a little dent in the radiator cowl: I shall have to take a look!
