I've just cracked one of my Lucas 810-3 lenses. (See attached photo). Would anyone have, or know where I can purchase one.
As a backup I'm also looking for either a single, or pair of, D810-3 lenses.
These lenses are to fit Lucas L150 Headlamps.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I've sent emails to them and to Headlamp Restorations International (and to a few UK based parts suppliers). Genius hasn't replied yet (after 2 emails), and HRI don't stock them. Plenty of P100 lenses but nothing to suit L150s unfortunately. As an interim solution I've bought one D810-3 (with the "U" in the middle) and I'm looking for another to make a pair. |

A long shot, but this is the guy that refurbished my L140's a few years ago. He may have stock or at least have an idea where to get them.

Hi Lew,
I've actually bought 2 D810-3 lenses from this seller as backup, and I'm waiting for a response from him regarding combined postage. The fluted 810-3s like mine seem to be less common than the D810-3s and DX810-3s. I thought it might be prudent to buy a couple just in case it takes a while to find a replacement for mine. |

Hi, I have some fluted Lucas lenses for Lucas 150 headlamps. The only numbers I see on them are M1 505972 . The other ones I have have the Lucas number FT 810 - they have cut-outs on the outer circumference on both sides. I don't know what headlamp there fit.

That's very interesting. Mine don't have a serial number, but they do have "M1" after the "810-3" (see photo). My lens is 8.5" in overall diameter and have 11 raised lines as per the original photo I posted. Would it be possible for you to send me a photo of the fluted one and the FT810? It would be very much appreciated.

Hi Mike, here are some photos of the two lenses I mentioned in my previous post. As you can see the flutes are much closed together than those on your broken lens. I have a couple of both types of pictured lenses. They both measure about 8.5" in diameter.
