I am at the stage of having a hood made and side screens recovered,
However I now strongly suspect these are not original.

Please can anyone help with detailed drawings/photos of the metal frame?
I would also appreciate photos of the covered side screens.
Very many thanks
Bob

Maurice - these are pictures, not drawings, but if you let me have your e-mail address I'll send them.

A note of caution to all those wanting drawings of the sidescreen frames: be aware that many P Types that I have seen have differing windscreen angles when viewed from the side. Which means that the forward 'A' post leg of the sidescreen would need to made to the same angle to mate with each windscreen side pillar installation angle.

On a directly related subject, my research for the correct windscreen angle (in side elevation) indicates that this should be parallel to the forward edge of the body scuttle panel .......... where it mates with the rear edge of the bonnet side panel.

Hope this helps. Sorry if this is a bit 'wordy'........ wish we could include diagrams or photos in these forum postings.
