The highest body number for a Triple-M car would be B266 - 4 seat NB - so I guess this might be from the SVW range or maybe the TA/TBs?

I think Body Type B281 is an MG Y Saloon, postwar, 1948-1950

Just a slight correction for the record - It's actually from a YA, not a YB, and would be around chassis number Y/7041.

If the plate is needing a good home, The International MG Y-Type Register would be happy to retain the plate for historical research?. Cost of postage within the UK will be repaid.
