Very much enjoyed my brief visit to Stoneleigh yesterday seeing old and new faces and collecting Jos' distributor cap. Had hoped to find a door lock for the missing drivers side on my salonette but sadly time didn't allow.

Has anyone any leads?

Cheers

P

Thanks Mike.

Here is a sideways viww of Chris Blood's driver's door uncovered.

The lock includes, left to right or rather bottom to top, the square mounting plate for the handle with crank, the arm connecting it to the lock proper and the lock mechanism itself.

The handle has to be forward of the lock so you can operate it easily.

The lock mechanism is the difficult bit if it comes down too having to make one.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

P

A lot of similar looking bits in an MGA roadster lock may be of use if you have to make one.
Available new from Moss.

Chris

Yes. I think the left hand one in your photo is the driver's side.

That is a rally good start.

Will ring shortly.

Cheers
