At least one member of the committee has received a bogus email purportedly coming from the register.
The email contains the following message:
IMPORTANT UPDATE IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR MAILBOX
To update your mailbox click below for your update to be completed.
If you do not update your mailbox within 24 hours you may lose all access and data associated with your mailbox.
CLICK TO UPDATE MAILBOX
This email is automatically generated.
You're receiving this mandatory email service announcement to update you about important changes to your domain mailbox.

I suspect this is a spam/spoof email, but I’m checking it with with our webmaster Nick Feakes over in Florida. In the meantime, if any forum members receive a similar message the advice is to ignore it and please don’t click any tempting links!

Update
I have now heard from Nick Feakes and it’s confirmed that the message I received was definitely a spam one from a sender in Nepal.
The sender’s identity is disguised behind the triple-m register name, but if you happen to receive one of these messages you can block the sender who has the following identity:
support@alwaysfutbol.com
