On the 16th September 1933, K3011 was entered by Whitney Straight in the BRDC 500 at Brooklands, sadly not finishing due to a blown gasket (as reported in the Light Car magazine race report).

Today, 16th September 2023, K3011 was back at Brooklands to celebrate its 90th anniversary. This time I am pleased to report there were no problems at all and what a lovely day for a drive.

Our sincere thanks to Brooklands for enabling us to visit the museum before it opened so that we could re-enact the photos of 3011 in the ‘pits’ and on the members banking.

Well done Elizabeth for sharing a very historical re-enactment.

Your late Dad Peter would have been very proud of both you and Andrew.
