I note an MGCC member has recently stated their reason for resigning club membership on the basis that they did not wish to subsidise access to non members, and so has joined another club.
Is there not a possible oversight here in that club members do benefit from the knowledge shared by non-club members. It is to the benefit of the club they can draw in specialist knowledge from a wider community.
I would be very surprised if the ex-club member who has just left does not now dip into the forum free of charge. This would be a little hypocritical I suspect if they were to do this now!
