Simon. I have been waiting for at least a dozen people to point out that Safety Fast (as a magazine) did not exist in 1933/4. The MGCC house magazine which started publication at that time was "The M.G. Magazine" which ran for a couple of years and was then re-constituted as "The Sports Car" and as such ran up until the war years. Confusingly, a magazine with the same name was started in the U.S. (edited I believe by John Dugdale) in or around 1946 but I don't know how long that survived.
Helpfully, the M.G.Magazine has been added to the Triple M Register website and can be read or downloaded. Have a nice time reading it.
Best wishes, Colin. |

Thanks, Colin. In truth, I had thought the same but I had a recollection, I thought, of Chris Harrill (Westbury) referring to a 1930s Safety Fast magazine but I must be mistaken. I’ll check the MaGazine issues that are on the website.

Hello, Simon. It wasn’t me! I agree with Colin and the in house magazine prewar was firstly The MG MaGazine ( 1933 and 1934 12 bimonthly magazines, I think,) followed by The Sports Car magazine up to and including 1939. Both excellent publications and now going for high prices. Chris
