I've noticed that the time identified for any of my postings is 3 minutes ahead of my computer clock (which is spot on GMT). It's not a big issue but I'm curious whether this is the same for others and if so, why?

Bruce, I think you mean CMT (Crewe Mean Time) not GMT !!.

Or maybe the server is further from the zero degree longitude than you are.
Or - I have no idea!
