I have been doing a little research on the tools supplied with our MG's, particuarly the T series cars. I am keen to find out more about the R.T.Shelley company of Aston Brook St, Birmingham, who seemed to alternate with King Dick as the main tool suppliers. Does anybody recall a magazine article or website outlining a history of the company? I am hoping to find answers to any of the following questions:
When did the first Shelley tools appear in MG kits?
Was there a relationship between Shelley and King Dick as their tools are often identical and some even share the same Pat#?
What became of the company and when did it diasappear?

Cheers,
Matthew Magilton.
