I think there is a detailed drawing of the Brooklands silencer in one of the Yearbooks.
There is an exhaust specialist very close to where I live, I could ask him if he is prepared to make up a suitable silencer and perhaps the fishtail?

I have now located the drawing and various measurements of the Brooklands exhaust, the information is in the 1976 Yearbook under the heading Exhausted?.
Our Chairman at the time was Steve Dear whilst other notables on the Comittee included Mike Allison, John Reid, Phil Bayne-Powell, Anthony Littlejohn and Colin Butchers. 33 years on and both John and Phil are Committee members whilst Mike is our Hon President!

Hi Ronald,
I have a Magnette sized silencer and fishtail available: I made it to correct dimensions, as per the Regulations. As a silencer it does not really qualify, unless your car is in a mild state of tune, but if you want to use it a Brooklands it is OK!

if you like, I could send you Brooklands Silencer Regulations and dimensions for MMM racing models, plus a sketch+description how I made a "noise-regulated" silencer for my K-type.
