The continued trawl through the various boxes of PA parts has thrown up the following parts that we cannot work out exactly what they are from. Can anyone help ? Many Thanks - Paul.
Which is the right one for a PA ?

The other side of the same part.

Paul,
The flywheel I think is for a J type. The top two clutch drive plates are for a early PA and the bottom left is for a late PA / PB the bottom right I don't know. The steering wheel ( originaly )should have three spokes. Don't know what the other bits are but may not be MG.
Someone more knowledgeable than me should be able to help more.

The steering wheel is a Malcolm Campbell and was supplied by the factory on NA0613, I presume specified by the buyer. Terry |

Hi Terry,
Can you tell me more about the steering wheel please ?
It was an MG factory option then ?
Were these an option for all NA's, or were they available for other MG's ?
Thanks ! Paul. |

Kimber,
The 6 spoke centre one ? What's it for then ?
I would need to speak to my father - and need to be sure that it's of no use to our PA. Probably not of use - as it looks like it's got more splines than the others.
Fred - The solid centre one is late PA ?
Paul.

Paul,
Yes the solid centre one is late PA. Introduced from engine number 2002AP Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Paul,
I can confirm what has already been said, the top two clutch plates are early P/N but neither of the lower two are P/N.
The pictures below are of a late P/N clutch plate, the friction material is moulded over the metal fingers, it is not two linings rivited to the fingers.

Peter.
I stand corrected, I was going by the drawing in B.W. catalogue which shows a soild centre plate with bonded linings.
I guess it's just a drawing for illustration purpose.

Fred,
As far as I know the original 'moulded' P/N clutch plates are not available now and have not been for very many years.

The steering wheel is as Terry stated and was an optional extra (about £5) I have the invoice from MG when Tommy Weston purchased my PB in 1935.

I think the bottom image is a rear mounting plate from a Ford E93A gearbox. Mike |
