Jeremy, what a nice detective story.

i) Major Gardner (headless, but same shirt on other occasions),
ii) K3007, obviously,
iii) the upper picture: Montlhery (the YACCO-sign on the shed in
the background),
iv) June 23nd, 1937, International Class G (1100cc) record session
(to my knowledge the only event at Montlhery with Maj Gardner in K3007).

Must be after the new centre feed manifold was made and the Zoller took charge again then?

Correct, Cathelijne. The engine and Zoller of K3007 still running on a single carburettor were then transplanted to K3023 (EX.135) early in 1938. The racing history of our Zoller in the pictures seems to end after the record session at Frankfurt that year. Subsequent photos taken at Dessau in 1939 show K3023 with a different and even bigger blower and twin carburettors.
