a few months ago I saw MG PA offered on an auction. It was sold for 24.000 pound. A few weeks later the same car was offered by a trader for 35.000 pound. The same with a Singer LeMans: sold on an auction for 29.000 pound, now on sale for 35.000. And today: a MG L1 sold by H&H for 42.000, now offered for 59.995!
I just don't understand why would anyone pay these prices?
Some (like me) do not like auctions so they will not buy there. Traders usually do not have these reservations and do buy there. The traders want to make some money as well. There are people with more money than the drive to get a good deal. Combine these and you get these prices.
Since the last discussion over the prices of MMM (spares) ended up with me buying my D-type I'll shut up now as it is better for my wallet
Car is with Nutley Sports & Prestige Centre (if it's the same car). The other MGs look a bit better parked outside the showroom (very clever and beyond my technical abilities) that when you investigate a little further!!
